# 9.6. Setting up Snowflake Connectors

### Step 1: Requirements

Ensure that you have the following:

* A Snowflake account
* AI2sql Pro
* Necessary database credentials

### Step 2: Open AI2sql

Open your AI2sql Pro application. Navigate to the new feature that enables the connection to Snowflake.

### Step 3: Initiate Connection

Click on the option to create a new connection. Select 'Snowflake' as the database you want to connect to.

### Step 4: Input Connection Details

Enter your Snowflake account details, including:

* Account
* User Name
* Password
* Warehouse
* Database
* Schema

### Step 5: Test Connection

Press the 'Add Connection' button to ensure that the information entered is correct and AI2sql can successfully connect to the Snowflake database. If the connection is unsuccessful, double-check your entered details.

### Step 6: Save Connection

Once the test is successful, save the connection for future use.

### Step 7: Querying Data

Now you can start querying your data. Simply enter your SQL query in the provided field and press the 'Execute' button. AI2sql Pro will run the query against your Snowflake database and return the results.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://ai2sql.gitbook.io/ai2sql/9.-database-connectors/9.6.-setting-up-snowflake-connectors.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
